dark velvety red color that coats the glass, vegetative nose, powerful and full, structured, tannic, dry, black cherry, sage, pepper and cocoa powder flavors, I believe this could last another 15 years at least, lots of stuffing, had with an artichoke/tomato/mushroom/olive flat crust pizza- nice

very viscous, clings to the glass. more like the typical cab franc, very peppery and very green.
