More of a public service announcement really in case you find yourself staring at a bottle of this and wondering if you should give it a go.
Well, yes, do. Go on, take your hand off your mobile phone and take it - as long as it isn't too pricy that is.
Considering how old it is for a 15 year old white blend, never really expected it to last, but it has. Definitely showing signs of age -
Deep lovely honeysuckle, all very delicate with soft stone fruits. Viscous on the tongue and to pour but quality. Well crafted and enjoyable to drink.
Bottom line is, if you still happen to have this on the shelf somewhere then you either need to drink it or get someone to buy it. There isn't any time left.

Nose and palate still very much sauvignon led. Melon and gooseberry aromas and flavours. Semillon starting to provide a bit of creamy texture and complexity, but still pretty primary. Probably needs another 5 years to start taking on aged Pessac characteritics. Certainly very good but slightly between primary exuberance and secondary development at the moment I think. ***

Superb wine. Deep yellow colour. Nose of lemons, oak and gravel - quite graves-like. Intense flavours - again lemons but lush and deep with some minerality and the oak well integrated. A superb drop - only a hint of volatile acidity at the end takes some of the finesse away from this.

Not bad. A bit oaky, but pleasant enough with some rich butter and decent acid. In a Bordeaux style. Not worth the price I paid.
