  Purchased from a retailer on Avenue Duquesne. Popped and poured. Dark ruby, almost opaque. Nose of blackberries, anise, florals, earth. Palate notable for still-primary black raspberry fruit with layers of spice, iodine, plum, and iron as well. Fine-grained structural components and refreshing acidity. Long finish with echoes of black fruits and minerals. Drinking very well and surprisingly unevolved.
