  Light brick red color. Meaty, savory nose of summer sausage, soy sauce, and abundant Premeaux limestone. The palate is less plush than is characteristic for this grand cru. The fruit has mostly receded save for a modestly tart and juicy flavor of currants on the entrance. What is left is the flavor of black tea, abundant minerality, and an acidic finish with a touch of mint that lingers for more than 10 seconds. Interesting enough, but slightly unbalanced due to the lack of fruit; clearly past prime drinking.
