Last bottle. Still a deep garnet core, but broad brick rim. Meaty tertiary aromas with hint of bramble. Tannin fully resolved, but avidity is balanced. Good with venison casserole - would be even better sipping in front of a fire with chees course, but not an option this evening sadly. Drink up if you have any left

Full, deep ruby to garnet. Interesting nose of ripe, dusty fruit and grilled meat. Ripe, rounded attack, some glycerin. No great complexity through the mid-palate. Moderate length, quite full-bodied but none of the heat that spoilt the 01 for me. Would be good with bbq meat. **1/2

Attractive, mature with good fruit (plum/raspberry) and some length. This is stylish, in the mould of a Châteauneuf but softer and less intense, and comparatively inexpensive.

Soft, slightly sweet, cherry and raspberry fruit, attractively mature but not yet tiring; medium weight, quite elegant and complete. Not a grand wine, but attractive.

Mature, raspberryish fruit; medium weight; enjoyable, but not outstanding.
