From magnum. Leather, cherries, spice, bramble, red currant. Medium acidity, medium- tannins. Has another 5–10 years ahead of it.

2009 Domaine Ponsot Clos Vougeot Vieilles Vignes. Mid dark garnet; berry, earthy, light woody nose; balance, fine fruit; long, rich fruity finish. 17 UC Davis scale, 92 other scales.
