ABV: 12.5%. There's so much potential in this wine! It opened up with notes of roasted herbs and forest floor, followed by cherry fruits after 30-40 minutes in the glass. Plenty of acidity and the tannins were noticeable, but not offensive. This wine easily needs another 5 to 10 years in the cellar.
2/1/2021 - The herby/earthy notes have digressed and the fruits have emerged, but the acid and tannins are still covering up the full potential of this wine. Wish I had another bottle to taste 10 years down the road.

On the first night, this wine was so fruit forward that I did not find it enjoyable at all. Although, I could still tell it was from Burgundy, there was nothing there besides low acid one dimensional red and some purple fruit. I forgot about it for two days in the fridge and when I opened it up, it had made quite a transformation. The baby fat was gone and replaced with a much more linear, tannin driven structure and a fruit quality that, while still forward, was much more precise and crystalline. Definitely still a Bourgogne level wine, but a very enjoyable one on night three. I will sit on my remaining bottles for a few years based on this experience.

Light red in the glass. Aromas of tart red fruit. Tart red cherry, and strawberry flavors that hang around. There is something underneath that hints of earthiness. Not a long finish, but very enjoyable as a daily drinker.

Opened 1.5 hours before drinking. Enjoyed with dinner of leek/broccoli/Gorgonzola tart. Predominant cherry/raspberry nose and flavor. Light body, light color. Very nice balance with just right amount of tannin and acid to keep it alive and on the tongue throughout bottle (and meal). Very nice and enjoyable wine, but don't expect powerhouse.
