M+ aromatics: blueberry, huckleberry, anise, and sage/spearmint
MB, M-A, SmT, MAlc, palate matches nose, velvety, Long finish of ripe red/blue fruits. Heat shows some but does not detract from the wine.
Really fun to drink. Very much in a sweet spot. for those looking for classic Booker style with an aged twist. Still time to evolve, but the alc might over power in there future... Will be interesting to see where this goes in another couple of years, but not past that.

Delicious blueberry and huckleberry mingled with hints of cedar and tobacco. Hints of leather, but dominated by purple fruit. Great acidity and structure. Very enjoyable and drinking great.

The Syrah based wines from Booker have been more interesting and enjoyable to me. The 2009 Vertigo is almost half grenache and it showed overly sweet and rather simple.

Flowery nose. Dark, silky and smooth with black fruits. Balanced with integrated tannins and medium length finish. In its prime now.
