  Très déçu par une première bouteille il y a quelques années (fermé, acidité dure), et là c'est une révélation! Magnifique nez, complexe (musc, fruits secs, géranium). Bouche suave, très bel équilibre, très long. Coup de coeur.

  Dark berries, earth and flowers. Mellow tannins. Simple and rough (in a nice way) Mature and right to drink now, so in that way 91-92. But quality of wine 88-89 so it'll stay at 90-91. Drink it with pasta and chorizo, maybe salami or a bolognese

  Open and decant for 3 hours, drank with tomatoes braised bacon, chorizo and potatoes. Thick and savory mouthfeel. Nose of dark spice and dry fruit. Surprisingly mellow tannins. Went well with the dish. It seem this wine has come together. A pleasant experience for someone new to Nero d'Avola
