Monthly Tasting Group LTB; California (by MdW): Still somewhat locked in the bouquet. On the palate black fruits and ok acidity and bitterness. The tannin is soft and still offers a good bite. Quite tasty and for a price around $14 a really good qpr.

Blend of 30% Merlot/27% Zin/14% Malbec/13% Petit Verdot and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very dark garnet color. A bit warm on the nose on Day 1 with dark fruit, oak, and a slight floral note. On the palate, fruit forward with blackberry, cassis, vanilla, and a bit of bittersweet chocolate. Short finish.
