Medium depth cranberry red. Funky at first on the nose, it soon blew off leaving spice and blueberry. Full bodied, blackberries, burnt caramel, black cherries, cedary tannins, pepper, and a long thick finish. Somewhat over the top, but still pretty fresh and tasty. Edit: Even better on day 3. Moving this up a point.

Nice dark fruit on the nose and flavors with small amount of spice (pepper) on the medium finish. Went well with a wild rice and kielbasa with pepper and onions meal

Fruity, blueberry, cracked pepper with mild tannin and a bit of tar. Fairly straightforward. Not a lot of complexity to be concerned about, drink 'em if you got 'em.

This wine certainly won't win any awards for subtlety. But if a full blown, unabashedly Lodi interpretation of Syrah is what you're after, it's just the ticket. Rich, almost unctuous, but not quite crossing the line into overblown.

Raspberry, smoke and alcohol on the nose with cool toned blueberry, pepper corn and spritzy heat on the palate. Probably about peaked if not over.
