  Barrel sample. Shocked at how good this was for being only 5 months old. Beautiful ruby-red color with wild strawberries, huckleberries, basil, and earth on the nose. Explosion of red licorice and bright red cherries on the palate with fine gritty tannins that you could feel on your tongue. I think this is going to be a truly special wine and vineyard. Christophe has done it again!
