Noticed that there was some seepage from the capsule, so opened her up. Interestingly, the cork appeared pristine. Decanted a few hours and tasted -- far too much fruit (and a little flat) -- so waited until day two to assess.
Today -- spicy stony peppery black fruit on both the nose and palate. Great zip and energy. Excellent potential. Likely needs another 2-3 years of cellar time. No rush here.

This has a deeper cast and a little more richness than the Clos des Chenes, but it's another totally classic effort, well-defined with stony minerality and already past its primary fruit. It's not quite as refined as the '05 vintage of this was, but it may be a little deeper. Nevertheless it still has the producer's typical lightweight touch, with a deceptive amount of muscle underneath, the initial plushness only receding to reveal its structure as you toss it around.

Still very good. Light on the palate. Had with lamb at a French Bistro. Dark fruit and earthy tones. Highly recommend

Very pleasant , soft drinking with nice lenght , a little odd on back taste but it evolved , would have benefited from an earlier decant

A very pretty bouquet and what the attack lacks is quickly overcome by a bushel of sweet multifaceted sulty fruit. An hour’s air serves this well.
