  Almost want to rate 93-94 on day 1. Sadly day 2 was not up to that standard. Still good enough, with a very clear and powerful structure.

  It’s a bit conservative 91 for now because the wine was still very young. But admitted there was great stuffing and this COULD go high with close to ten more years of age. Very dark style

  Probably 90 point on Night 1 when popped and poured, increasing to 92 when finished on Night 3 (stored in a 375 ml bottle in between). As with most '09s, this seems to be drinking quite well already, though likely not yet at its peak.

  Another really nice '09. First bottle of 6. Not sure if this is just starting to hit a good drinking window, or if this is an '09 that simple hasn't ever shut down.

  Opened this one and poured in a big Burgundy glass, needs no decant, ready for business, very herbal nose, spicy, smokey, on the palate ripe somewhat red fruit, a herb garden, reminds a little about a complex rhone bottle, still fresh, on one hand good grip, on the other silky, hints of stable, overall well structured and dense, ending quite fresh persistent, enjoy from now on, I think will keep this condition or improve for some 5+ years, ***-(****), 90-92 potential
