This is generating some heat in the TNs. Firstly I enjoyed the wine. Very well made Chardonnay, big, pear and some stone. Also drinking well now and has more years in it. But... not a typical Chablis, less acidic, less stone. Almost new world.

Pale yellow in color. Lovely airy aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, fresh cut apples and hint of limestone. Superb palate shows ripe citrus, sweet pears/apples, excellent acidity that balances out the creamy palate and a very long, floral and mineral tinged finish. Great example of a modern, broadly framed Chablis and superb value.

Pale yellow in color. Aromas took a while to unfurl revealing chalk, yellow citrus and white flowers. Quite spherical in the mouth with ripe yellow citrus, lemon curd, medium (+) acidity, smoky herbs and a mineral laden finish.

Coravined. Light yellow in color. After 30 mins of warming up in the glass expressive aromas of ripe lemon curd, orchard fruits and spiced green apples with honey waft to the nose. The palate shows more sweet than sour creamy lemon meringue pie notes, with spicy honey and touch of minerals. This is not much Chablis like in character- there no tension of acid, salinity and sea-shells on the palate. But, it is delicious and spherical in the mouth.

Did well with food. Not quite my taste of Chablis as it's more mellow than crispy saline. Final btl of six and no inner urge to re-buy this overpriced wine.
