Dinner at l'Artusi 6/28/2011 (l'Artusi): Tasted double blind. Deep black blood. Nose absolutely a flood of volatility -- think turpentine and paint thinner. Clearly deeply flawed. Palate very tannic, very hot. 15%+, I'm sure. I guessed it was a 5 or 6 y.o. Sardinian wine due to its rusticity and general weirdness so I actually came pretty close. Actual alcohol was 15.5%. (Jonathan A's wine, thanks Jonathan!)
