Yeasty nose with a strong orange pith aroma. Bright, honey laden palate with a high toned quality and a yeast kicker. My previous mead experiences did not prepare me for tasting these method champenois meads from Heidrun. Very impressive wine...er...drinks! They won't take the place of Champagne but they are very nice sparkling drinks in their own right.

Family Winemakers Tasting San Francisco, nose of Orange blossoms while walking in the orchard, taste of spring flowers, honey, and hint of orange, nicely made to sip and savor while waiting for the Krug to chill.
