  Nose of wet stone, limestone, and fresh lemon.
  
  On the palate, we have Riesling picked at beautiful maturity, where traces of evolution mingle with youth. It’s lively, tense, lemony, rocky even on attack. Then the wine settles down quietly, with a second half of the palate shared between white flowers and tropical fruits where maturity is expressed. Nice finish on mineral salts with good length.
  
  An excellent Riesling, happy to have acquired this bottle at a lower price than recent vintages.

  Wow, amazing citrus and minerality jumping from the glass. The palate is crisp and exciting, like chewing on a wet stone, with tart pineapple as well. Good mid mouth fill, racy finish. A Cochy-Dury type of GG Riesling. 96-97

  From memory. Deep yellow, looks a lot more mature in the decanter than how it feels in the glass. Tropical fruits on the nose, white and yellow. Citrus, Physalis, white flowers and very mineral. Smooth and pretty. The palate gives good acidity that haven't matured that much since last time. Slightly oily and not as fresh as on the nose. Petrol and tropical fruits. Medium long aftertaste. Not as brilliant this time but still a very well made and elegant GG.
