When the best thing you can say about a $35 bottle is its ok...then its not ok...Sam makes some fantastic wines. This bottle, unfortunately, was not one of them..

Bit of grapefruit on the nose, has a 'pucker factor' and a taste of sour grapes. Starts light, but goes heavier in the mouth. Don't catch the sweetness mentioned in one of the other notes - would call this a very dry Riesling but lacking some of the elegance found in that genre.

Not much going on here. A touch too sweet for me as well.
