Screw cap closure has kept this wine from showing its age. Drinking very well. One of the darkest Rosés I have ever seen. Almost as dark as some Beaujolais' or even some lighter Pinot Noirs. Dry but fruity with bright cherry notes. Clean and crisp on the palate, not so much because of acidity but because of the stainless steel tank fermentation (no oak cooperage). I wish Lucas Meeker would resurrect this wine.

Surprised as I expected this is a bit late to drink, very nice, flavor grew as it warmed, great on the patio on a warm day

I have found this wine's raison d'etre ... chicken and pasta in a cream sauce with a little heat, and a LOT of garlic. Just the right astringency.

A year+ in the cellar has definitely helped!
