  Classic Penfilds style, with deep brooding fruit, strong but well integrated wood. Perfectly drinking now, licorice paired with savoury eucalypt, long finish. Please to drink now. Great value for money and great example of this classic Shiraz / Cab Sauce blend

  This is my totally surprising wine of the month (in what has been an indulgent month - Dec 2015). This wine had me and my guests gushing. This had been carefully cellared since purchase. This wine had power, finesse, balance and complexity. Deep fruit, licorice and some lovely meatiness but also a kind of elegance. This had me back in the cellar looking for more!!! Another confirmation to me the Shiraz Caberbet blend is a great Australian contribution to the wine world.

  Dark garnet with dark crimson hues.
  Showing aromas of cassis, dark plum, blackberry, with plenty of spices & hints of toasted oak.
  Smooth and medium bodied, exhibits dark plum, blackberry and violet. Mellow mouth-feel with nice full flavors. Nice long finish with soft tannins and spicy aftertaste. Aged nicely and drinking very well now.
