One word. God awful. Okay, that was two words. I had this crap in my hotel room at Loews Atlanta. They should be ashamed for serving such a substandard wine. Truly terrible.

Nose of dark berries, this has nice structure and not fruit bomby, flavors of plum, some dark berries, a little grapefruit and paprika on the top of the tongue. It could go a while longer, at least a year or 2.

In Vino Veritas Session 2 (MIT): I remain unconvinced by this line. Overripe fruit (lots of blackberry) and blood come through on the nose and palate. Too hot - alcohol is totally out of whack on this one. 93% Merlot, 3% Cab. Franc, 2% Cab. Sauv., 2% Malbec. 14.5%, $23.

Lovely, strong tannins, let it breathe, and it will taste of oak and butter- well balanced, and does not overpower lighter fare. Reliable choice!
