Precise and detailed mid to full red fruit in a silky and finely mineral frame last night, softening and opening to a far sweeter and rounder wine tonight, a little more crowd pleasing, but less detail and line. Both versions good. Bodes well for future bottles... ***1/2

Seems to have taken on some weight in the past five years, and needs to age at least another five years. Red fruited, but with a bit of darker fruit on the back end, plenty of structure, still has tannins to shed, very good acidic backbone. Yet this still has a charming and sexy lushness which really makes it enjoyable to drink. Yum!
