Stony nose with a bit of lime. Tastes of sweet Meyer lemons and barely ripe pineapple. Soft, supple texture. Decent acid and would be a fantastic wine were it not for the 13% alcohol. Noticeable. Dry finish.

APPEARANCE: clear; pale lemon; medium legs & tears NOSE: clean; medium intensity; citrus fruits (lemon, lime), stone fruits (peach), pear, oak present PALATE:dry, high acidity; medium body; medium+ alcohol; medium+ finish; medium+ flavor intensity; flavors: as per nose, also lemon grass, oak more present than nose READINESS FOR DRINKING: Can drink now but has potential for further aging FURTHER REMARKS: a strong fresh white Pessac, but a bit heavy on the Oak, will possibly integrate over time.

No detailed notes taken. Very nice white Bordeaux. Ready to drink now. Not overly complex, but very pleasant. Score range 88-91

2010 Bordeaux UGC Chicago (The Drake Hotel, Chicago IL): Nose: There is a nice freshness to the nose with tones of pears, citrus, white fruits, and a real nice mineral streak as well.
Taste: Light bodied with crisp medium/high acidity. The acidity is more in the refreshing side along with tones of pears, minerals, and white fruits.
Overall: This is a very refreshing Bordeaux blanc. It's open to drink right now an is very enjoyable.
