Started off a little acidic but with some time to breath it fully evolved with dark cherry flavors with a little vanilla and a nice finish. Went nice with a Roasted Pork Loin wrapped in bacon over Carrot Puree and Pear Mostarda

Morgan Winery, Monterey: More concentrated fruit in the nose than the 09 twelve clones. Dark red fruit. Shows decidedly more herb too. More grip and concentration on the palate. Feels like a step back in acid from the twelve clones. Palate feels a little RRV tonight.

Good, but a little young still? Something about it just did not resonate with me. I own a lot of Morgan wine and would put this bottle behind the Twelve Clones right now.

Nice acidity with cherry and cranberry/spice notes. Went wonderful with the Easter Ham with a Spice/cherry/pineapple sauce.
