WENT GREAT WITH a nice filet. Good fruit in the nose with Cherries and slight hint of Orange peel. Both slight tannin and acid on the finish but extremely well balanced with a medium body after the fruit and before the finish. Just reaching maturity. Will probably be a terrific wine for years to come. A surprisingly outstanding wine from a small winery in Willamette.

Update to my 11/26/2015 note. Vacuum sealed the remaining half-bottle and left for three days. On day four, the nose was more balanced: still smelling of orange, but the cherry is more prominent. The taste is more balanced as well, showing cherry, orange, and a hint of spice and stems. A very long, if uncomplicated finish makes me think, given that this was day four, that this wine has a long way to go. Will probably wait even longer (4-5 yrs) for my next bottle.

Good, but in a slightly strange place. Strong nose of orange peel mixed with Dundee cherry and remaining stems. The orange is just unexpected and overpowers any rose or violet aromas one normally finds in WR estate fruit. The palate is raspberry, spice and stems. Hard to tell where this is going, but it has a very long time to go. Will try another bottle in 3 yrs.

Wonderful potential but still not ready for drinking. The whole cluster is still dominant giving a "green" and tart berry fruit taste. Bouquet has not yet developed beyond a tobacco mild fruit combination

Needs another year, but very aromatic, not quite the depth, but I think it will get there in 12 more months
