Bought on futures for $17, intended for early drinking. This bottle got "lost". Decanted for an hour and what a pleasant surprise! Blackberry, black plum, spice, cocoa, and loam linger nicely. Now would be good...

Pnp. Very dark in color. Nose of dark berries, cedar, pepper, and leather. Palate follows with addition of plums and bordeaux dirt. Tannins showing still, this could still improve. Decent balance, this could have used some decanter time. Still nice for what it is.

Decanted for just 30 minutes. Plums and dark berries. Medium bodied, young yet, tannins still very much noticeable, touch of green pepper, slight mint for sure, spice and wood. Nice wine I've had in other vintages, this should improve still as it has some edges that need time to soften.

Very nice, tannic, classic bordo at the outset, but rather one-dimensional. However, after a couple hours, it developed beautiful secondary characteristics, becoming more fragrant (plum and mint) and better integrated. Let it breathe!

PnP and let sit for about 10 minutes. Color is very dark purple. Thick legs. Aromas of dark berries such as plum, boysenberry, blackberry and mulberry, some vegetal or garrigue notes, a bit of warmth in the nose. On the palate dark fruit, medium tannin, pronounced warmth, some viscosity and sweetness, medium acid, leaving a warm, neutral to slightly mouth-drying finish.
