Totally drinkable but kind of non-descript. Balanced but I just didn't get a whole lot off the nose, some nice bramble and fruit, and spice, no earth or minerality. Mid-palate and finish was soft and acids and tannins in the background. Soft fruitiness and spice. A great QPR. And great to throw in a picnic basket or in your backpack if you're hiking for awhile. Just not alot of personality. I recently drank a bottle of Big Farm wine for 7.00, twist off, and we drank that while sitting on an old fabulous wood bench on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the sun shining but windy and cold, eating jalapeno cheese bread and liverwurst and English Coastal Cheddar and chips and that wine was so tasty! I liked it much better than this one because I could taste a personality at least, so f you are looking for a great QPR blend that leads with fruit, I'd recommend the 7.00 bottle.

Fruit driven. More twiggy and foresty than the 2010 Russian River, but with some bitterness not offset by any better structure.

Fairly typical low-end Cali Pinot -- perfumed, candied fruit, some spice. These types of wines don't do much for me.

Light in color and body. Slightly acidic. Lacking in depth or complexity. At $10 not a bad QPR, but won't be buying any more.
