  • Dark yellow color that reminds me of a Blanc de Noirs. Heavy aromas of cider, honey, and dusty minerality. The palate is smooth and dry with good body and acidity. The flavors are sweet and consist of nuts and lemon with hints of ginger, spice, and wood. This bottle may be somewhat advanced as it has been stored passively but that seems to have given it special character. The best description I can come up with is still Champagne like. Great value.

  • Good ripe green fruit on the nose, fresh apple and a little citrus on the palate with a respectable finish, this is a deal- thanks to Dan Kravitz. With grilled halibut and a fresh squash bruschetta that had bleu cheese and bacon involved this was a great match. I lost this in the cellar when stocked in , so a great find tonight.
