Weekend at Magog; 9/22/2017-9/25/2017 (Magog, Quebec): Light gold color. Drank 1+ glass over an hour. Somewhat rich aromas of butter, lemon custard, oak and stone. The palate is medium full body, shows nice presence with a certain focus to the lemon and creme brulee with moderate toasted oak, medium acid and clean stony mineral tone. In a good place.

Some evolution since 3 years ago. Leaning towards a golden yellow now. Still with nice fruit expression on nose, with more evident vanilla. Fruit seemed t have a bit more weight and roundness, making the mineral/acid component more in balance and without an overt tartness. Really great with grilled snapper/apricot/pistachio aillade as the fruit became almost sweet and the acid was welcome.

Light yellow in color. Nose has pear, citrus and stone. Palate features fresh fruit, some mineral, focussing acidity that leans toward tartness until the food arrives; then it is more than proves its value and is a table enhancer for sure. Not texturally complex nor possessing real elegance/finessse, but this come off as pretty classic white Burgundy if somewhat generically.
