3rd and 4th of 6, pnp, apparently perfect corks and level, first bottle showing too much volatile acidity and odd and undrinkable, the second clean, ok plummy fruit, quite high toned, clumsy, and short, a bit odd and confected and I wouldn't bet on it settling down. At best G (15).....worst wine of weekend!

On opening, bright notes of strawberry and salak and on the palate bright, strawberry and raspberries again, but still very tight, quite acidic and good tannins. After an hour and a half, darker fruits emerging, but still tight, slowly unwinding. Would give another 3-5 years to open up more.

Burgundy and Beef session (Bishan): Tasted blind. Drank over 4 hours. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour with garnet edge. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of earth, dark red cherries, black cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, dark red cherries, earth, hints of gamey meat. Medium+ finish. Very good quality. Good concentration with mix of black and red fruits. Just losing some focus on the finish. Drink up and enjoy.

Drinking well but nothing profound here. Seems to be in a nice, balanced place for drinking.

2nd of 6, not decanted - as my note of May 2014 but showing more game than meat on nose and palate, developing nicely. Fine plus (18/20).
