Dinner at D Cuisine (Chicago, IL): Library release. Really good stuff; it punches far above its price point. Drinks along the lines of a feinherb (it's too easy to make that comparison). Just a touch of roundness from the fruit, but minerally and bright, with a very light palate presence. I think the age has rounded off some of the sharp edges, so it's not as electrically intense to drink as a young riesling.

This one caught us off guard... nose was fairly muted, some slate, honeysuckle, salinity. But the palate starts off with a surprising amount of honeycomb and vanilla bean, then an impressive acidity kicks in on the finish to balance it beautifully. Loved it. Only a hint of petroleum notes too, surprising considering the age

This still has face ripping acidity and I love that. Smells like hot dry stones and clay. Nose also has mandarin oranges. Palate has a ton of citrusy fruits with lime, green apple and more mandarin orange. Finishes clean and fresh. This still has lots of life left. Alas it's my last bottle.

Very nice Riesling. The aromas and mouth feel are superb. Peaches and stone fruit, minerality and other familiar Finger Lakes flavors.

Second bottle of this was liked much better. Slightly sweet but very nice tartness and nice acidity. Very nice.
