Dark color. Some mint? on pop n pour. Started to open up after 30 minutes (I was anxious to drink this). On day 2, the mint disappeared. No tannins. I wish I could remember more. I still have a bottle left. I'll save this for a couple of years down the road.

This is full of black fruit, chocolate and spice. But I feel like it's losing structure. Drink 'em if ya got' em! A bit cloying on the finish. But otherwise full of flavor.

You buy expensive, highly rated wines with the hope that patient cellaring will reward you with a mature, elegant, nuanced wine, it doesn't always work out that way. But sometimes it does, dark berries, and a little bit of mocha, medium full bodied, with a complex finish. This wine has at least four or five years ahead of it.

Still a big cab. with solid fruit and complexity. Tannins are very mellow.
