Theise/Skurnik DI tasting. A little rounder and more pleasant than the GGs (yay for a few grams of residual sugar!); bright lime and grapefruit flavours though not overly complex. My favourite wine at the table.

(Dr. Deinhard Ruppertsberger Riesling Kabinett Halbtrocken) ($22.00) A fine, easy, dry Riesling, or so you think. Aromas of plum tart (with a killer crust) and a juicy, almost buttery palate; 5-spice, tonka bean, key lime – this may be the best liter wine I’ve ever shipped. Drink it at cool room temp to see just how good it is.
