Berry, cherry, earthy, moderate pepper, with peach undertones. Moderate finish. Went well with Filet mignon, onion rings, Kobe beef with bacon. Surprised by this wine since vintners collections can tend to be a mushy mixing of grapes. Next day lost some flavor. May be better with more aging.

Heavy on the tannins: leather and tobacco (not sure which dominates) with a hint of citrus behind it.

Stop has lots of tannins. Not much nose. Good fruit. Nothing terribly definable.
