Funny they were prominently featuring this during a long pour on Hells Kitchen...I mean I know it's not bad, but it's an $8 bottle of wine. What happened to the Stag's Leap wines they so proudly displayed in previous seasons?

The local grocery store had this for sale at $8 (MI). The color was stunning.. much redder than I recall malbec to be. It took me until my second glass to realize this was average tasting at best. If I see it again I will try it because I am unsure if the lack of taste was due to bad storage.

Nose is sharp, has a balanced flavor without being Complex. Paired well with a chicken pesto dish.
