Based on my experience with more recent vintages, I was expecting a wine with a deep amber color, heavily honeyed aroma, and astringent mouthfeel. What I found was quite different. Light copper in color, with pink reflections. The nose showed hints of honey, white flowers, and orange marmalade. No remaining tannins to speak of; the palate was actually quite smooth and sweet. A bit watery, although it seemed to gain some heft with air. Drink up. Rated 1 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Deep gold color. I agree completely with previous assessments. This wine has a full aroma, smells like a red wine if blindfolded. Very thin in the mouth though. Actually a good amount of tannins but watery and out of synch with the aromas. Despite this, I liked this wine, though not something I would like to drink nightly

The last two bottles of these have been astringent and while the exotic, Radikon-like bouquet offers a nice offshoot from the norm, the mouthfeel is just wrong with gritty tannin and a bitter finish. I'm back to my original estimation of this wine. Perhaps I hit the second bottle at just the right time.

Wanted to try an orange wine. Mild butterscotch and lemon zest nose. Minerals and brine. Odd astringent finish. Strange and interesting, but I can't say I would get it again though.

Nice nose. Unexciting palate. Interesting wine, but not worth the price, in my opinion.
