  I generally like Bordeaux style blends, but I didn't find this one overly special. Mostly Merlot with the other 4 Bordeaux varietals thrown in, along with Petite Sirah for good measure too), there were some nice red berries on the nose along with a little bit of cinnamon and licorice snaps. Velvety moutfeel, round tannins, decent finish, not as structured as I would have expected with the blending additions. Good, but not very good, would have expected a bit more for $18.
