Pnp and was served (double) blind. Guessed Australian Shiraz. Dark garnet, toasted oak, coffee and dark chocolate. Full bodied with a creamy palate. Fine tannins. Medium plus finish. Very well done however with no grape typicity whatsoever. 91-92

Seemed to be a victim of overprocessing... had this one following a great biodynamic Cab from Sonoma, and it was hard to believe they came from the same grape. Felt like malolactic fermentation ran loose in this one, oversoftening it and taking away any character that might've been there. Decent nose, flat and "made for the masses" on the palate.

GT Wine Top Tasting WA Cabernets (Sydney): Nose: Muted (and unripe) black currant. Minor eucalyptus. Mouth: Medium plus to high, coarse tannin. Hot alcohol. Medium minus acid. Blackfruit. Ugh.
