Fourrier Dinner with Friends (Formento’s): Apple and lemon curd. Still nicely fresh start for its age, with great concnetration for Villages. Best when first popped and poured, then gradually losing steam after 30-45 minutes in glass.

Popped and poured last night. Tight as a drum upon opening, but after about 20 minutes this really sang- stony, lemony goodness. great length and energy. For years I thought this was a premier cru as opposed to a lieu-dit- that's how it drinks.

Medium bodied with substance....floral, orange peel, grapefruit, lots of minerals, intensity...solid finish. Drinking beautifully now.
