A wine that really reflected a poor and ripe vintage. The wine had the nose of a chevalier with toasted nuts, some minerals and citrus. A wine with the gc strength, yet the complexity and layers of a good chevalier were missing. This is at its peak now. Drink up asap.

Ripe and dense with low acidity. The Bouchard oak still sticks out a bit. Like most 03 white burg, it is drinking over the peak.

Start with a hint of citrus and a full load of vanilla. Well balanced in mouth. Finish with a lovely caramel. Good now.
