Dark cherry, notes of earth and chocolate. Smooth texture. Medium finish.
Tart on the nose with lots of berries Smooth mouthfeel and a nice finish. Plenty of earthy berries with a nice currant undertone.
Nice nose with hints of earth and berries. Nice feel in the mouth. Good tannins and a medium finish. Nice complexity.
Arcady Vineyards Wine Tasting Tour (VA Wineworks, First Colony, Blenheim, and Jefferson) (Monticello Wine Trail, Virginia): wow! This is pretty and smooth, almost old-world in its mouthfeel and flavor profile. very ripe fruit shown subtly against a backdrop of earth with maybe a faint hint of chocolate and tobacco.
