A big step up from the normal bottling, this VV showed very well despite abusive humidity in the outdoor locale where it was consumed. Juicy citrus and mineral notes, with a pleasing florality. Missing that chiseled flint or steel aspect of the best examples. Perhaps that emerges with time.

Nicely done Chablis in a fuller style. I wouldn't describe it as lean or chiseled, but it retains good freshness and it's still without doubt Chablis. No undue wood influence. While not worth the ~$50 it retails for, it's a nice wine for the $30 sale price.

A very good effort here and really the first time we cross paths with this producer. . A bit fattier than a normal chablis but really adds a nice twist. Good minerality, bright acidity and purity. A solid 91-92

Focus on 2010 Burgundy- The 2013 La Paulee Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion, New York): Subtle seashell nose. Light to medium weight, classic Chablis flavors and a driving, rocky finish with a twist of quinine. Impressive and pure, in fact more so than the Grand Cru that immediately followed.
