This wine is absolutely on fire right now. Nose is classic Barolo; tar, roses, and black fruit. Maybe some stewed meat. Also some sweet vanilla, but not sure how that's possible from 5000L botti? The palate is silky smooth with broad, integrated tannins, mouth-watering acid and sweet dark fruits. Finish is velvety and a mile long. Absolutely stunning non-Cru Barolo. Drink or hold.

Bottle opened an hour early, consumed with pizza. This wine is ready for business! Lush (for a barolo) fruit profile, with strong but not out of balance tannins. It could go more years but is in it's prime window now.

This note is from night three being open on my counter. This wine needs time.
Intense nose of tar and cherries. Cherry dominates the palate. until the tannins hit like a brick wall. There's a nice finish that sneaks around, and a bit of a floral quality hiding underneath.
Good value, what seems to me to be a classically styled Barolo. I opened it too early.

Strong baking spices on the nose. Round flavor, tobacco.
