  This beautiful Rhône style blend is still tasting great !! A baby Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Santa Ynez !!
  I agree with each of my past tasting notes !!
  This delicious Rhône blend was consumed at dinner with friends. Perfect cork after over a dozen years. Deep dark ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of black cherry with a hint of licorice. Flavors of fig, blackberry, and leather with a medium to long finish. A very balanced flavorful 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah blend. This is an age worthy wine with more years of life left, unfortunately I have no bottles of this vintage remaining in my cellar. Great fruit from Purisima Mountain Vineyard and great winemaking effort by Mikael Sigouin and Steve Beckman.

  Delicious !! I agree with my prior tasting note.
  Consumed one with friends at dinner a month ago and another this week at another dinner. Still have one remaining in my cellar.
