Clear med ruby with a hint of garnet on the rim. Clean nose of dark berry and a hint of earthiness. Palate starts with dark berry, subtle oak, med tannin and acidity. Med body, developing with a med finish of sour dark cherry. Getting better and still developing.

Appearance: med - ruby core moving to a wide red-brick rim Nose: clean, medium intensity, youthful with herbaceous bell pepper and red fruit. Palate: dry, medium +acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ length, Bright red cherry, sweet spice, dustiness, cocoa powder. Very good wine, ready to drink will not improve.

Just got this in recently from Opimium Society. I like the style and glad i got this, perhaps a little pricey for style, but won't complain. I cut and paste a tasting note from the web site, usually over rated, but i actually agree with note, so take a look:
Colour: deep, dark red Nose: very intensive red berry fruits and pepper Flavour: Sappy and packed with concentrated berry and black currant notes, with well-integrated tannins and a light burst of spice on the finish
I would add there is a decent hit of acid on attack and the finish has some sour cherry notes also. This drinks fine solo now and with food, but may mellow another year in bottle, not sure if it will get better.
