  Dark & deep blackberry color that is showing some age on the rim. Spicy herbal & black fruit aroma tinged with leather. Some nice spice, too. Lean entry of spicy plum & a little sweet prune. The mid-palate is slightly metallic & the finish is crisp in acidity. At 13.9% alcohol, this is what Aussie Shiraz should aspire to at 10+ years.
