  • Medium/deep ruby core, narrow burgundy rim.
Attractive nose, with medium/medium + intensity blackcurrant and plum fruit, not overly precise but relatively complex with cedar, spice and vanilla hints.
On the palate this has medium, fine, soft tannins and medium/medium + acidity. A medium + bodied wine with reasonably concentrated blackcurrant, plum and bilberry fruit with cedar and spice on a lovely, slightly savoury medium/good length, elegant, well balanced finish with traces of fine tannins.
Overall a very good claret. Probably just about at its peak it should hold for at least another 2 years.
