Delicious and full-bodied, with tangy blackcurrant, chocolate, and dark coffee; incense, tamarind, and a hint of tobacco show up at the end. Outstanding QPR, I wish I'd bought more bottles than I did.

Vinturied w/decant, love this wine, but I like any wine that’s underpriced and over delivers! That said, blue/purple in the glass, and the blue fruit follows the nose, hot to start with, but blew off after decanted. Med + body, and finish, with just enough acid to balance the fruit. This wine keeps bringing you back to sip, all good. Drink now -20?

Tasted open for a week with no deterioration. A superb wine from the 2008 vintage that has a pitch black color and a taste that is more like a lush and deliciously fruity Syrah with black currant, blackberry, and blueberry, but framed with bright acidity and dense tannin that make the wine simultaneously rich and lively. Overall, much better than you would expect from a Cote du Roussillon Village and delightful by itself and with food.

I have no detailed notes, but this was quite delicious, and presented an exceptional value at $20 from WTSO. It wowed the crowd at tonight's tasting.
This is just into its drinking window now, but will age gracefully for another 10 years at least. I wish I'd bought a case.

Großer Solist, da braucht es nichts zu essen dazu. Hat sich nicht verändert seit dem letztem Mal. Konstant lecker vom ersten bis zum letzen Schluck.
