The 2008 Pasqua Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is very ripe, layered and concentrated with densely packed black cherry, damson plum, raisin and loads of milk chocolate. This full-bodied Amarone is really round and supple with a juicy core that explodes on your palate. This is not the most structured Amarone I ever had but it is extremely delicious from start to finish and it's even approachable right now. (Drink 2012-2019) - February, 2012 (JD)
